Dance group Mayyas and stage dancer Kristy Sellars qualified for the season 17 finale of America’s Got Talent on Wednesday during a results episode.
Members of the all-female Lebanese dance group screamed and hugged when they learned they were moving on at the end of the hour-long show on NBC.
“I’m not surprised this happened because these girls did an amazing job,” said Sofia Vergara, 50, who used her Golden Buzzer in the group.

The Mayyas thanked Sofia and everyone who voted for them for their support.
Kristy, 36, from Ballarat, Australia, broke down in tears when she learned she had qualified for the final.
“I didn’t expect that,” Kristy said. ‘Thanks a lot. My kids thought I was really cool until now.
Show host Terry Crews, 53, asked Howie Mandel, 66, what he meant to Kristy.

“Kristy, I want to say you’re a perfect example of what this final is going to be like,” Howie said. “You show us things done in a new way with so much originality. ‘
The public voted for ventriloquist Celia Muñoz to advance to the finals as a Wild Card contestant after Sofia nominated her.
Simon Cowell, 62, nominated the Players Choir, while Heidi Klum, 49, nominated singer Lily Meola and Howie nominated comedian Don McMillan.

Celia was shocked when she found out she was going to the finals.
Mervant Vera, 33, a magician and rapper from Philadelphia, made it into the top three before being eliminated.
Singer Kristen Cruz, 19, of Crawley, Texas, and Urbancrew, a dance crew from the Philippines, made it to the top five before being eliminated.

Travis Japan, a boy band from Japan; singer Aubrey Burchell from Pittsburgh; Blade 2 Blade danger act from Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Yo Yo Shu contestant Takada from Yokohama, Japan; dancer Max Ostler, 18, from Sydney, Australia; and comedian Jordan Conley, 29, were also eliminated.
“Really, really sorry to see so many great people go,” Simon said. “But at the end of the day, only two pass. I believe America has again made the right decision.
The hour-long show also featured a guest appearance from former AGT champion Brandon Leake, who spoke about how his life changed after his win.

“What drives us all is the hope of inspiring another young person to be able to pursue their dreams,” Leake said.
Brandon spoke to Howie about how he inspired him.
“I know if I was in this year’s final I would be sweating a lot,” Brandon said.

The Mayyas and Kristy will join comedian Mike E. Winfield, Metaphysic, singers Chapel Hart, magician Yu Hojin, singer Sara James; magician Nicolas Ribs, saxophonist Avery Dixon and country singer Drake Milligan in the final.
America’s Got Talent will return to NBC on Tuesday with the finalists followed by a results show on Wednesday when the winner is revealed.
The winner receives a grand prize of $1 million and a show in Las Vegas.
