Born To Perform were stunned by Britain’s Got Talent with their dance band to Hairspray’s ‘You Can’t Stop The Beat’. These disabled teens gave it their all, winning the golden buzzer and proving that there are no limits.
I don’t cry, you cry. But these are truly tears of wonderful joy. Because God created each of us to shine gloriously for Him!

Some of us have been fortunate enough to grow up with a family member who has a disability. We’ve had a front row seat to all the challenges, setbacks and triumphs of living with a disability. We know they look different and they talk different. But when we have the privilege of being friends with a person with a disability, we see the world through their eyes and that truly blesses us.
And this dance performance by a group of teenagers called Born To Perform is spectacular.
Handicapped teens stun with dance group performance
Born to Perform lit up the stage with their enthusiasm, energy and smiles. This fun dance featured cartwheels, swirls, and jazz hands all around. And their outfits are a nod to the days of Grease, poodle skirts and bow ties.

When the dance group finished their performance, they received a standing ovation from the audience. Then Dave awarded them the Golden Buzzer. He said, “‘I loved it guys. In fact, I loved it so much I’m going to do this!”
Judge Alisha Dixon commented: “Your passion is pouring out, it’s just wonderful to see, you did a fantastic job, each and every one of you.” While Simon added: “I didn’t like it. I loved it!”
Simon also told them, “I loved that you guys had such a great time, it was actually one of my favorite auditions.”
Some people may think that the word handicap means to be incapable. But we do know that God created each of us with gifts and talents to reflect his glory in each of us. We hope Born To Shine puts a smile on your face today!
