Windfall Dancers Marketing Team Volunteer
Windfall Dancers Inc., a non-profit arts organization established in 1978, is looking for a volunteer to help its marketing team with various positions and projects. Bring your social media skills and knowledge to this opportunity! This volunteer would attend brief virtual weekly meetings, develop content and marketing plans, and help manage social media accounts. Food bank volunteers
The Hoosier Hills Food Bank would benefit from individual volunteers and small groups to help with chores in their warehouse. Volunteers are sought for two to three hour shifts during the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday or Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday or Friday. Volunteers will help with food sorting, cleaning, clerical duties, packing boxes and packing bulk food. Groups of three to four people are needed from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help stage the food items to be picked up by the agencies. Minimum age is 18 for staging and 15 for warehouse work. Volunteers must also be prepared and willing to lift up to 30 pounds and work with diverse groups of people and maintain a positive attitude, including staff, donors, students, youth, seniors, and volunteers with developmental difficulties. Bloomington Home Show Volunteers for LIFEDesigns
The 2022 Bloomington Home Show takes place February 24-27 at The Warehouse, 1525 S. Rogers St. The annual home show is an extravaganza of activities and exhibits from over 100 vendors. There will be activities for young and old. LIFEDesigns is recruiting about 25 volunteers to help distribute the bags, guard the children’s area, and more. Two-hour volunteer shifts for anyone 16 years of age or older. Shifts are available during the hours of 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
