New Delhi:

Mumbai’s V Unbeatable dance group which has become a household name in India after appearing on Remo D’Souza’s show Dance More, made headlines again after their stunning performance on a reality show America has talent season 14. V Unbeatable not only received a standing ovation, but they also got the golden buzzer bonus (more on that later) by wowing the judges – Simon Cowell, Julianne Hough, Howie Mandel and Gabrielle Union – and guest judge Dwayne Wade, married to Gabrielle Union. V Unbeatable, who is known to add exhilarating stunts to their numbers, stole the show by dancing to Ranveer Singh’s song Tattad tattad from bollywood film Ram-leela. V Unbeatable, made up of 29 members, also shared what led them to America has talent.

The representative of the group, before starting the performance, said that it was a tribute to their friend Vikas Gupta, who died six years ago as a result of an accident. While attempting a stunt while practicing the dance, Vikas was seriously injured, leaving him paralyzed from neck to toe. “His body was paralyzed and after a few weeks he passed away,” the representative said. “His dream was to be on a stage like this. So yes, we are doing all of this for him,” he added. Each member of the group wore a yellow jersey with Vikas’ name on it.

From the incredible performance of V Unbeatable – they mixed breathtaking acrobatic numbers with smooth dance moves. Judge Julianne Hough said: “Some people are just dance teams and some people are just acrobats, you have the combination of the two.”

Not only Julianne Hough, former NBA player Dwayne Wade, who is the show’s guest judge of the week, was also blown away by their performance. He asked Gabrielle Union to check her heart rate and said, “My heart is beating at a rapid rate that I have never felt before.” Dwayne Wade is a former basketball player.

After praising the dance performance, Dwayne Wade hit the golden buzzer, qualifying the group for America has talentlive shows in Hollywood.
